About Us

Joe Martucci
President and Director of Meteorology

Thank you for visiting! Joe Martucci thrives at the forefront of Meteorology in media. A Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and Certified Digital Meteorologist with the American Meteorological Society, Joe is New Jersey’s only meteorologist to hold both certifications. He’s also an FAA-certified Part 107 drone pilot.

Joe launched his business in 2021, expanding in 2024 after 6.5 years with Lee Enterprises and The Press of Atlantic City. A 10-time New Jersey Press Association Award winner, he consistently ranked as a top performer in video views, subscriber conversions, and more.

Weather isn’t just Joe’s profession—it’s his passion, especially when it impacts New Jersey. From Jersey Shore tourism to the cranberry and blueberry crops in the Pinelands, to the countless outdoor events that define our lives, he knows how critical accurate weather information is to everyday life. That means the weather forecast but also historical look backs, weather industry news and more.

A born-and-bred New Jerseyan, Joe earned his Meteorology degree from Rutgers University, where he’s on campus for talks and attends nearly every football home game. Having lived and worked in nearly every part of New Jersey, he now calls the shore home. He’s worked or visited every beach town from Sea Bright to Cape May Point, many more than once.

Joe’s expertise hasn’t just been noticed in the Garden State, though. He’s been featured in The New YorkerDeadliest Catch, and national publication from Rutgers University. As the first Certified Digital Meteorologist in 2023, Joe speaks across the country to other meteorologists on the future of meteorology in media.

You can find Joe @joemartwx on all social media platforms. Whether you need a regular weather presence for your news website, consulting for your community, or stunning drone footage, Cup A Joe Weather and Drone is ready to deliver.

Jonathon Rocco
Meteorologist

Jonathon Rocco was born and raised in Monmouth County. His passion for weather was stirred by his love for snow as a little kid.

Growing up, Jon would sit in front of the TV to watch the local news every major snowstorm. His family would jokingly say, “he’s going to be a weatherman!” Well, here he is!

Jon is a proud alumnus of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft and eventually went on to graduate from Rutgers University in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology.
