Why is THICK fog engulfing NJ, but only where it snows?

This fog is thicker than the Ashes on my forehead (Happy Ash Wednesday to all celebrating) 😛.

However, the fog is ONLY where there’s snow cover, or a beach town, in NJ. Here’s why. 👇
